The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of the town, close to lively pubs, charming shops, theaters, and the railway station. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable, offering nice little 'extras' in the bathroom. The service is friendly and accommodating, with some staff members still finding their feet. The location is fantastic, providing easy access to various attractions within walking distance. The dining experience, while satisfactory, could use some improvement in the breakfast selection. Overall, a great value for money option for a pleasant stay.

The hotel is in a fantastic spot, right in the heart of the town close to pubs, shops, theaters, and the railway station. The rooms were clean, comfortable, extremely spacious, and well-furnished, providing a quiet retreat. The service was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond on multiple occasions. The dining experience offered a good variety, quick service, and hot, plentiful food. However, some areas for improvement include staff attitude towards food quality, and comparative value for money against other options in town.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms, although small, were very clean, comfortable, and provided everything one would need. The staff's exceptional service truly stood out, going above and beyond to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel's central location in the lovely Crescent was perfect for exploring the town on foot, making it easy to reach both the beach and the town center within minutes. The dining experience was a bit mediocre, but the facilities were great overall.

I stayed in room 216 and 217 on the second floor, which were quiet, extremely spacious, and well-furnished. The rooms were much nicer than portrayed on the hotel's website. However, there was a drawback as they were noisy due to their proximity above the kitchen and nightclub, resulting in listening to thumping music until the early hours of the morning.

The service was wonderful and went above and beyond, making our stay truly special. The staff were attentive, polite, and friendly, not making it feel scripted. They even assisted us in recommendations for wine and food choices during a wedding event.
Location

The hotel's location was very good, just a 5-minute walk to both the beach and town center. It was situated opposite lovely gardens, the Art Gallery, and the Rotunda. However, it was a bit challenging reaching the location due to road closures during heavy snowfall.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience was a mix. While the food options were well-cooked with a good variety, the breakfast was a letdown with unappetizing croissants. Nonetheless, the restaurant was lovely with natural light, making it a pleasant place to dine.
Facilities

The hotel had a good selection of drinks and arranged special features, like organizing a hairdressing appointment and serving exceptional drinks in the bar. However, the entrance vestibule and reception area were somewhat dark and not as welcoming.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were enormous, and the en suite bathroom was spacious and bright, making it really comfy. The little 'extras' like face wipes and body lotion added a special touch. The service was top-notch, with the staff being very pleasant and efficient. The location, just across from the town center shops, was perfect for exploring the town on foot. The dining experience had its ups and downs but overall was enjoyable. The facilities were excellent, making my stay truly memorable.
